National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in China on a friendly visit at the invitation of President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping. This was reported by the news program "Watan."

Before leaving Ashgabat, the National Leader held a meeting with the heads of political parties and public organizations in the country. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that friendly relations between Turkmenistan and China are reaching a qualitatively new level. Cooperation between the parliaments and political parties of the two countries is developing fruitfully. Cooperation in the cultural, humanitarian, and educational spheres is steadily expanding.

It was also noted that significant importance is attached to cooperation between the two countries in energy, agriculture, and transport. This opens up new promising horizons for mutually beneficial cooperation for the benefit of both peoples.
